CLT Foreclosures privacy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
This policy explains how we handle information connected to accounts, alerts, subscriptions, contact requests, and public-record foreclosure research.
Information we collect
- Account information such as name, email address, password authentication data, subscription tier, billing status, alert preferences, saved properties, and login timestamps.
- Payment and subscription information processed by our payment providers. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Contact and support information, including messages, correction requests, privacy requests, and dispute-related communications.
- Usage and technical information such as pages viewed, searches, filters, saved listings, approximate location signals, IP address, browser type, device type, cookies, logs, and analytics events.
Public-record data
- Foreclosure and property information displayed on CLT Foreclosures is primarily sourced from public records, government portals, public notices, county records, GIS data, tax records, court records, and related public sources.
- Public-record information may include names, addresses, parcel details, case numbers, lender or trustee information, sale dates, and other information already available from public sources.
- Because public records are controlled by third parties, corrections may need to be made at the source before they can be reflected accurately on CLT Foreclosures.
How we use information
- Provide listings, maps, saved properties, alerts, subscriptions, account access, support, and foreclosure research tools.
- Send requested alerts, weekly digests, account notices, billing messages, service updates, security notices, and support responses.
- Improve data quality, deduplication, search, product features, security, and user experience.
- Detect fraud, scraping, abuse, unauthorized access, payment issues, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the platform, and the public.
How we share information
- We do not sell account holder personal information to data brokers.
- We may share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, database, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, customer support, monitoring, and security vendors.
- We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, court orders, governmental requests, or to protect rights, safety, security, and platform integrity.
- Public-record data and user-visible listing information may be viewed by visitors, account holders, search engines, and other third parties according to site access rules.
Email choices
- You may receive alerts, digests, newsletters, and account-related messages based on your account settings and subscription activity.
- You can unsubscribe from promotional or digest emails through the unsubscribe link in those messages. Account, billing, security, legal, and service-related notices may still be sent when necessary.
Cookies and local storage
- We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support analytics, improve performance, and protect the service from abuse.
- You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some account, alert, map, saved-property, or subscription features may not work correctly without them.
Security and retention
- We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
- We retain information as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, provide accounts and subscriptions, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and preserve business records.
Your choices and contact
- You may request help accessing, correcting, or deleting account information by contacting privacy@cltforeclosures.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
- Some public-record information may remain available from original public sources even if we update or remove it from CLT Foreclosures.
- We may update this policy as the platform changes. The latest version will show the effective date.
